Winter Storm

We got blasted with quite the storm on wed night through Saturday afternoon... Here in Hillsboro we got at least 2 feet of snow. WOW.. Its hard to say exactly how much we got, but we definitely got 2 feet at least.... Everything was closed down.. By far the biggest storm we've had since I've moved here... It was quite fun to be snowed in, but it came on Christmas, so it was sad that people could not make it to their destinations for Christmas. Wade's parents were stuck in the very small town of Murdo, South Dakota... for 2 days. We got dug out yesterday, Jon and I went shoveling yesterday afternoon, while Wyatt slept. It took us 2 hours just to shovel out front walk......... So at the end we called Wade and asked if he would so kindly borrow us his snow blower.... and he did... Thanks alot wade.. With the snow blower Jon got our cars out... Then we had our Christmas meal for supper. Wade, Dalayna, Jessi and Barrett were here. We had Turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, and cheesy hash browns, with peppermint stick ice cream to top it off... What a Christmas it has been.... :)
